Hello Westover family,

I hope you all are having the beginnings of a great summer. We just finished VIP camp and had a great time. We had 87 campers and 52 Adult/Teen volunteers. Aside from my usual sun burn it was a lot of fun and some really special times seeing the kids stretch their minds and bodies throughout the week. We (as always) have a ton of goodies the kids left and will have a place set up so that you can pick those things up, also if your child did not make it home with one of the new water bottles we have those as well. We also have a few extra compasses if they lost those too!

What can be more fun than sweating with a bunch of kids on Monday night? I can’t think of anything. So come join us this summer starting next Monday out at NACC for Fiesta!!! The theme is “Where in the World is Jesus?” We will have each night focused on a different part of the world and how Jesus is impacting the people there. Please join us from 6:30 to 8 each of those nights.

Calling all Care Groups and adult classes!!! We need center leaders and center putter togetherers for FBA!!

Please come see me or call me or email me or snail mail me or smoke signal me what you can help with.

We have 12 groups that need to be filled and would love to have all of you involved. We also need some manly men and womanly women to help turn our foyer into a beautiful beach city to go with our theme….Rescued! So let me know about that too! Finally we will have registration available on line and through .doc forms and paper copies available. So register when you can and remember, only 1 registration per child. I will over inflate the numbers later! :-)

Peace to you all

WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!!! I have FBA Forms right Here.fba registration2008

Hey all,

Just a couple of things to share today. First don’t forget your Flood Sunday Cans this Sunday! It is very exciting to see what God has in store on Sunday! Second remember VIP Camp this Wednesday at 3pm or later, depending on your schedule. I think that will be the biggest event of camp-”When the next camper arrives!” We do have quite a few surprises this year so I can’t wait until it all starts!!

Finnally, to your left is quite a funny video of our very own Brent Allen and his “Rock Band” playing a little rock and roll!

Peace out!

Howdy Ho Family!

I hope you all are having a great May. We are heading closer to 2 big events in the lives of our kids and just wanted to remind you of them. Floodgate is coming up on the 1st of June and we wanted to remind you to have the kids get their change in the Floodgate banks and bring them on the 1st. They will get to come on stage and pour them into a big ole’ wheel barrel! Also VIP Camp is just around the corner, please sign up your 2nd-5th grader for this really cool time for our kids. We are doing something very new this year and wanted to make sure everybody gets to be apart of it. Also remember camp starts on Wednesday the 4th and Lake Travis and Leander ISD’s are still going until the 5th. We still want everybody to come and we will take the kiddo’s whenever you can get them to us. Several of us just got recertified in CPR and I can now say with confidence I am a master at the “Hime Lick” Maneuver!

Finnally today while getting set up for Worship tomorrow, we spotted a deer in the playground. A REAL Deer! I have video to prove it, just to your left on the screen. It’s not very long (Cell phone sorry) but it is kinda cool. The deer did say that she likes the “Tire Swing” the best.

Talk to you again real soon!

Peace!

Hello Family,

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We had a very busy weekend and wanted to report on what happened.

Springboard was a great success! Thanks to Jonathan Holland and all the hard work he and all the volunteers did to make the day a great time. We had about 130-140 kiddos, which for the first time was quite awesome.

Sunday was awesome as well! We broke the all time record in K2P- 119 kids and 149 total. WOW!

Lisa and Gretchen did a great job as did the whole Yellow crew.

Also, announced  is our “Floodgate” Special Sunday.  Please pray that God will take our gifts for that day and open the floodgates of blessing on his children in Austin and around the world.

Please invite your teachers for “Bridge Day” and let us give our thanks to them.

Praying for all of you!

Hi everyone,

Just a couple of things to share. Thanks to all of you who give to the glory of God and the spiritual well being of our kids. Kidz2praise was crazy, but the kids had a great time worshiping Jesus!

On a more somber note. Please keep the Everest’s in your prayers at the loss of Michael’s dad. Also Corbett Marler and his family at the loss of his mom. As much as we celebrate the joy of God’s children we also mourn with our brothers and pray for God’s calm and comfort over them.

Hi All,

Just a quick note to let you know Denise and the girls had to go to Seminole Texas to see her grandmother.

Denise’s fathers mom just had a massive stroke on Wednesday and will not make it. She is resting comfortable but has swelling of her brain. Please pray the girls and Denise’s family through all this.

To Go be all the Glory

Adam
